Nesbit Fire Department has a junior firefighter program designed to expose high schoolers to EMS and fire services. The junior firefighters will be trained on fire service operations and equipment as well as EMS training. After training, junior firefighters will be permitted to spend time at the station with other firefighters and respond to emergency calls with the firefighters while assisting on scene in a limited role. This program is for students under the age of 18. Upon turning 18 junior firefighters will be given the opportunity to become a full member of Nesbit Fire Department.
