Driver

Drivers are responsible for safe and effective operation of a fire apparatus. A driver’s role is to safely drive the fire apparatus to the emergency scene and operate the water pump and necessary equipment on the apparatus while on scene. Nesbit fire department has several members that are drivers only. Most firefighters are also trained to perform as a driver.
